 REGIS-TR UK is a central trade repository for trades and sanctions across multiple product classes. A SIX Company, the trade repository is open to financial and non-financial institutions and services one of the major regulatory reporting obligations in Europe, namely UK EMIR. REGIS-TR UK collects and administers details of trades and transactions reported by its clients to give market participants and regulators an aggregated view of positions in compliance with the appropriate regulations. REGIS-TR UK acts as a one-stop-shop for the reporting of all types of instruments included in UK EMIR and has experienced significant growth since launch. 

 

Reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer, we are seeking a motivated self-starter to join the REGIS-TR UK London team, assisting in areas of Business Development, Corporate Affairs, Marketing, and Compliance. As the Business Support Intern, you will be a part of a fast-paced and solution orientated team responsible for the company’s business administration and operational support. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to support general business and project activities.

 

 

What You Will Do 

  • general and administrative support to the REGIS-TR UK team in London
  • support the Compliance function with performing administrative tasks such as file creation and maintain files of ongoing projects
  • support the Corporate Affairs Team with logging, reviewing invoices, as well as obtaining their approvals. Provide other financial support, such as reviewing monthly statements and performing intercompany calculations, as well as administrative support, through maintaining inventory of outsourcing and other contractual agreements
  • support the Marketing Team with respect to event organization and sales initiatives, participating in regular editorial and marketing meetings
  • support the Business Development Team with the management of the dunning process for clients who are late in paying their invoices, aid the team with market research for sales campaigns and assist in management reporting

  What You Bring 

  • you have graduated with a bachelor’s degree or similar for no longer than 2 years ideally in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law, Marketing or similar
  • excellent communications and presentational skills
  • excellent organisational and time management skills
  • ability to innovate and simplify current processes and practices
  • strong team player, willing to cooperate with multiple colleagues across departments and office locations
  • good knowledge of MS Office: Excel and PowerPoint in particular
