An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit (IPCU) of Stratheden Hospital for enthusiastic registered mental health nurses who are keen to enhance and develop their clinical skills within this specialist environment. Hollyview ward is a mixed 8 bedded purpose built unit.
As a pivotal member of the team you should possess good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), and have genuine interest in working with this specialist patient group.
You will contribute to providing high quality evidence-based care and support to patients who experience a diverse range of mental health issues within the Acute and Forensic Services. The post holders will provide care through a progressive patient focused approach, within a therapeutic environment that is underpinned by risk assessment and multidisciplinary working.
