Who they are:

As the CEO of an electronic vehicle (EV) conversion kit company specializing in transforming existing heavy trucks from gasoline and diesel-powered vehicles into electric-powered vehicles, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction, overall operations, and growth of the organization. You will work closely with the executive team, stakeholders, and partners to drive innovation, ensure product excellence, and achieve business objectives. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a strong entrepreneurial mindset, deep knowledge of the automotive industry, and a passion for sustainability and clean energy.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and communicate the company's vision, mission, and strategic goals in alignment with the EV industry and sustainable transportation trends.
  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth, market penetration, and profitability.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities, evaluate potential partnerships, and make strategic decisions to ensure the company's competitive advantage.

Operations and Execution:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and timely delivery of EV conversion kits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement in product development and manufacturing.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices throughout the organization.

Product Development and Innovation:

  • Stay at the forefront of EV technology advancements, market trends, and customer demands to drive innovation in the conversion kit offerings.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging research and development to enhance product performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Evaluate customer feedback, market research, and industry insights to refine product roadmaps and introduce new features and capabilities.

Sales and Marketing:

  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and drive revenue growth.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling campaigns, content, and branding initiatives to raise awareness and generate demand.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the company's financial plans, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring financial stability, profitability, and sustainable growth.
  • Monitor key financial metrics, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Secure necessary funding, negotiate contracts, and manage financial relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial partners.

Team Leadership and Talent Management:

  • Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team and cultivate a diverse and inclusive organizational culture.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to inspire and empower employees, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance reviews, and facilitate professional development opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a CEO, President, or other executive leadership roles within the automotive industry, preferably in electric vehicle technology or clean energy sectors.
  • Deep understanding of electric vehicle technologies, EV conversion processes, and the broader automotive industry.
  • Track record of successfully growing and scaling a business, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • A passion for sustainability, clean energy, and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
